Chrome OS coming in 2010

I recently got pcworld magazine and read about Chrome OS. It is going to come at the end of 2010 and is totally off the web.

When Google first launched its Chrome Web browser, many of us immediately saw Chrome as Google’s extension of an operating system. Now, that prophecy is fulfilled with news of Google’s plans to open-source the Chrome OS code later this year with view to have it available in the second half of 2010. But immediately, this raises fundamental questions about what, exactly, defines an operating system, and what will distinguish Android, the open-source mobile OS spearheaded by Google, from Chrome OS.

Snow Leopard Shipped + Stuff

Today they shipped Snow leopard! Check a few posts down for the newest features. I wish I had a mac but I don’t. I hope it’s awesome.

Moto X Mayhem

This is a great app to get. It is a little hard and only has a few levels (7). So its worth 99c. you lean back and forth with the accelerometer and press on the right end of the screen to go forward and vise-versa to go in reverse.

App Updates

Well today there were a few new updates on some jailbroken applications.
There has been an update for Mewseek and Backgrounder.

MewSeek:
Once again another pointless update… no Import to iPod on 3.0.

Backgrounder:
Yes! you can now chose what applications you want to always be ran in the background! a good update for sure.

I found a cool post on digg about some new features of Mac OS X Snow Lepard.

1. ActiveSync and Exchange 2007 support

Following in the footsteps of the iPhone, Snow Leopard makes these Microsoft technologies native to the OS. That means Apple’s e-mail, calendar, and contacts apps work just peachy with Exchange 2007 server, giving users the same capabilities as Microsoft Entourage but with the better-designed, less-memory-intensive apps — Mail, iCal, and Address Book — included in OS X.

2. Exposé integration in the Dock

The Mac OS X Dock makes it easy to access applications, open documents, and common folders, a concept Windows 7 is stealing in its retooled taskbar. Open documents are even more easily accessed in Snow Leopard, thanks to the integration of Exposé.

5. Movie and screencast recording

Snow Leopard takes the formerly $35 QuickTime Pro and makes it a standard, free app in Mac OS X. That means you can record movies and — great for many marketing, education, and Web professionals — screencasts from your Mac with no additional software.

Hyper Puck: I think its horrible

This game seems pretty bad to me. It is $1.99 and all you do is shoot a hockey puck with a gun. I saw that it was rated pretty good on ipodtouchfans.com so i bought it and was very disappointed. Here is a video of me playing it:
